It’s my goal to assist every client in better understanding who they are when they enter therapy: the aspects others have influenced, the ones that go unacknowledged, and the person we want to become.
-
FIRST SESSION
Intake assessment. Here we can answer any questions you might have about myself, therapy, logistics, and I will get further background information from you. I use a bio-psycho-social model of mental health, which means we will discuss many areas of your life and your life experiences leading you to therapy today. This session will take around 60 minutes.
-
SECOND SESSION
In our second session I will continue with any questions from our initial intake that I did not get to, and we will get the chance to have a deeper conversation about your treatment plan, mutual goals and expectations for our time together. This session will take around 50 minutes.

SUBSEQUENT SESSIONS
Sessions after the second will start feeling more like talk therapy with much less formality. These sessions will feel more directed by you, vs the first few that are directed by me. Sessions last around 50 minutes (billing may vary for substantially shorter or longer sessions).
